Feeling Crummy....

Say a prayer for me. I have been really sick these last few days. On Tuesday, we had our district meeting, and about half way through, I ran to the teacher's lounge and threw up for several minutes. A few teachers were there to help me, thank goodness. I went home, left the meetings, and stayed sick in bed. More throwing up, dizziness, etc.. When I could throw up no more, I just dry-heaved. It has been so horrible. No, I am not pregnant. : ) That seems to be every one's wish, but it just isn't so. So, Monday night was also Open House, and I was so dizzy and nauseous, my mom drove into town to pick me up and take me to my Open House. I'm so glad she could help. She also got to see my kids, my classroom, and all the excitement of a new school year. So, please say a little prayer for me. I had all summer to get sick, and I didn't. I, with my fabulous luck, get sick the night of Open House. I have SO much work to do before Monday morning, and I just feel so weak. I feel bad for the 5th grade teachers, having to deal with me sick already. I hate feeling like I am letting them down, even though I know they understand. Thanks for the prayers I know you will lift up! : )

  1. I'm so sorry you are feeling bad! But you threw that "no, I'm not pregnant" in at the EXACT moment I was thinking "are you pregnant?!", I laughed when I read your response to my thought. Not that your being sick is funny....it's so not funny! I am praying for you, I know how feeling like you are falling behind on work feels, it sucks! I hope you feel better and let me know if you need ANYTHING!

  2. I was thinking "oh you are pregnant!" too. Hope you get feeling better.
P.S. I never really cook shrimp myself but I LOVE It (if you couldn't tell) and so I eat as much as I can when we go to coastal places!

  3. I feel really bad that you are feeling really bad. I know just how you feel though. All summer you are fine and then right when you need to feel your best KABOOM! It hits you. Hopefully you are already better this am. I am praying that way. PS. Terry and I are celebrating 28 years of marriage today. Isn't that AMAZING!?!?

  4. Hope you are feeling alot better Miss Jessica. The summer has passed so fast. I really enjoyed going to school with you. Its kind of funny to see you in action with the new kids that will be in your class room & seeing you with the kids that you have already had. The were hugging you & asking you if you had a good summer, etc. some of the kids were taller than you. I find it all funny. Its hard for me sometimes to think of you as a grown up & out in the work place with what you do all day. But you love the kids & its very obvious that they love you too. You are more than just their teacher you are also their friend. Hope you have a great year with all the kido's. Wow...its your 3rd year to teach english/reading. I'm so proud of you Jessica...
