The Sloppiest of Sloppy Joes: A Recipe

Thank you so much for the encouraging words on gymnastics.
We are planning on signing Harbor up this weekend!
: )

I wanted to pop in and share a super quick recipe that is sure to please a crowd.
The weather is getting cooler {it snowed here yesterday! Brr!} and football is on T.V.
There isn't a better time to serve the sloppiest of sloppy joes!

This recipe feeds a large group {about 20} and is a twist on a traditional taste.
It is perfect for a football party!
We made it last week and froze some for later.

If you're not a sloppy joe "kinda" girl {or guy!}, trust me.
Try this recipe:
the bite of the bell peppers and the sweetness of the brown sugar make this comfort food!

We like to use kaiser rolls instead of hamburger buns.

And once you have all your ingredients assembled, you are ready to go!

Start by browning your meat and draining off the fat.
Then toss in your chopped onion and bell pepper.
Cook together about five minutes, or until your onion is translucent.

Transfer the meat mixture to your crock pot.
Add all of the remaining ingredients {minus your bread, of course} and cook on low 4-6 hours.

We like to eat ours with chips and dill pickles.
And these are seriously sloppy. Serve with forks!

This aint' your mamas canned sloppy joe mix.
This is magic, folks!

And we love it!
