The bottom half of our driveway is down. It took over one full truck to pour it. The top is next. The brick is finished on the back and about finished on the right front side. They are starting on the front. The tile in the shower and master bath is almost finished, and my kitchen cabinets have been glazed. They look soooo good!! I love them! They may end up being my favorite decision! : ) They look old and worn and cozy. The glaze got into the b-board and really darkened up the nooks and crannies!

New Paper and Punches!
I just purchased at Hobby Lobby a great new paper package, a Biggie Bundle, and a new set of long reach punches. These punches allow you to punch even in those hard to reach corners of paper. The paper bundle features pages for every month. It is a Karen Foster design. Visit www.karenfosterdesign.com to see more of her product! There were SO many other cute pages in my bundle I wanted to show you, but my post would have been too long to show them all. Super cute! : ) Now, being off work all summer, I plan on making my yearly supply of birthday, anniversary, baby, graduation, and holiday cards. Wooohooo!
New Paper Products!
I am so excited to have received my new paper cutter. It is an X-Acto® 18" Heavy-Duty Paper Trimmer: Cuts up to 15 sheets of 20-lb. paper, adjustable, sliding paper guide for perfect alignment, Paper length 18". I ordered it online at Stalples. Here is the link to see it at Staples with more exact information/pricing- www.staples.com and enter Item 505289. You will enter the item number, when at the top, it asks you to find an item by number.

Connection Group
Although we were missing three people from our group tonight- Bobby, Greg, and Katie- we still had a fun time. Amy brought her Aunt's dog, Cotton. He is a little Bichon Frise too! When Tilly came later, we had three Bichons running around! What fun! We love our Connection group! Thank you for being such a fun, encouraging, uplifting group! : ) Our focus tonight was aligning our worldy goals with God's plan and provision. We set Spiritual goals and personal goals for the next month.

Sweet Bichon!
This, that, and the other......
Lights have all been installed, minus the outdoor lights. Those will go in after the house is bricked. The brick has begun: Natchez Trace with Chocolate mortar. I'm not sure if you can tell in this photo, but we have asked the brick layer to pull some bricks out farther from the others to give it that old world European look. All of our ceilings are 50% of the wall color. So the bedrooms are a lighter yellow, the dining room is a green 50% lighter color than the wall color, etc. The door hanldes are a one touch open system. This is nice because you don't have to actually put your hand on the knob and twist it to open. It will come in handy with an armful of groceries and one free hand, but not so handy when we have a two year old running the halls. : )On Monday, the tile flooring should have grout and our mosiac should be installed. Paint is not 100% complete, but it is close. There is still LOTS of touch-up work needed.
