This, that, and the other......

Lights have all been installed, minus the outdoor lights. Those will go in after the house is bricked. The brick has begun: Natchez Trace with Chocolate mortar. I'm not sure if you can tell in this photo, but we have asked the brick layer to pull some bricks out farther from the others to give it that old world European look. All of our ceilings are 50% of the wall color. So the bedrooms are a lighter yellow, the dining room is a green 50% lighter color than the wall color, etc. The door hanldes are a one touch open system. This is nice because you don't have to actually put your hand on the knob and twist it to open. It will come in handy with an armful of groceries and one free hand, but not so handy when we have a two year old running the halls. : )On Monday, the tile flooring should have grout and our mosiac should be installed. Paint is not 100% complete, but it is close. There is still LOTS of touch-up work needed.
