Andes

I totally cried reading your words of encouragement.

I never thought in a million years I'd experience the pain of a miscarriage, let alone that of twins. Or be diagnosed with PCOS at age 30. This whole ordeal has been very surreal. Hearing your stories, hearing from those of you who have lost children, as well, and just knowing someone somewhere is praying totally broke me down.
Thank you. Someday, I'd like to think I will be brave enough to really tell our story, show the ultrasound pictures, show myself pregnant and showing.. I'm not there yet. Maybe someday.
Thanks again for praying for us.

In other "sweeter" news, I wanted to share with you the sweet treat I made my boys to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary.

Behold, the Andes Mint Ice Cream Pie!
{hearing angels singing and children laughing}

And I promise I'm not so lazy as to take a picture of a recipe instead of typing it out all "pretty" for you..
I'm really trying to wash paint off of my chevron dining room wall and this was faster!
Harbor's been finger painting today. : )

  2. Awe Jessica praying for you and sorry for your lost. I know that this is a diffcult time may god be ever near to you and may you feel His love and strong arms around you and give you the strength to carry on. I know the thing that did help me at the time of my miscarriage was snuggling with my hubby and kids and of course family and friends. Also something that was very dear to me was the things that i kept that I had of this baby which wasn't much but a book called moomy plese don't cry by Linda Deymaz which is a beautuful picture booko babies and kids in heaven and i place to leave your memories and dreams and so forth of this child tht you never meet. Hugs thoughts and prayers and will continue to keep you in my thoughts as well as the your hubby and son and for healing

  3. I just found your blog and I am so glad I did. I was just diagnosed with PCOS 6 days ago and it is so surreal. I had a feeling I had it but could never find a doctor who believed in it or would agree to test me since I did not fit the mold for symptoms. Just know you are not alone and there are many other women going through the same thing and feeling the same pain! Praying for you and your sweet family!
