We have been snowed in for three days, and I have only left the house once. We went to Wal-Mart to restock and to Chick-Fil-A for lunch. Harbor enjoyed playing and my mom, David, and I enjoyed getting some fresh air. We also stopped at Blockbuster for Eat, Love, Pray. Despite being cooped up for days, I have been blissfully happy. I am such a content home-body. When you go 90 miles an hour through the work week, it is nice to see how the other half lives. Ha, ha!
We are expecting more snow in the next few days and I am starting to wonder if we will ever melt out. David is currently up in the air, and I hope he has a safe flight. Flying north right now is nerve-wrecking. Unfortunately, work must continue, regardless of the weather. I am happy to have chosen a career that allows me so much paid time at home- snow days, holidays, and summers. You can't beat that! No other new news, except I may need to buy new jeans if I continue to eat my way through this blizzard.
Happiness is not having perfection all the time. Happiness is a warm house and people inside that you love.
Have a happy weekend, wherever you live!
