Thanksgiving Shirt

A few nights ago, my mom and I ventured out to buy fabric for Harbor's annual Thanksgiving and Christmas shirts. We have been making them for every holiday since he was born. It took awhile to find the right fabric, and in the meantime, the plan for the night started to disintegrate. Harbor refused to sit in the cart, wanted to stand up in the back and jump, and insisted on touching every bolt of fabric we passed. Eventually, even this failed to occupy him. And yep, wouldn't you know, it then started to thunderstorm!  : )

My mom kindly took Harbor to the car to wait on me to finish shopping, measuring, and having my fabric cut. Ahh, the joys of toddlerhood! All was forgiven, however, when he fell asleep on the way home. He is like his dad- take him to a fabric store and there will be tears! He will be sporting a very cute Thanksgiving shirt, and for that, it was worth it. Ha!

Apart from a truck window and some monogramming, I think we have a winner!

I'm looking forward to this weekend- I'm finalising my Christmas card newsletter, putting my Christmas cards together, and attending two birthday parties for Harbor William's little friends.

Here is to a family-filled, meaningful weekend!

  2. Cute! I love the green plaid fabric. Harbor seems so mellow and good natured, so it must have been the fabric store's fault. :)
