A Special Tile with Sentimental Value!

Kristin, a new bloggy friend from Georgia, ordered a tile for her sister-in-law's birthday. Her sister-in-law's mother and her mother-in-law passed away from breast cancer, and they always walk the breast cancer 3Day walk each year. Kristin's sister-in-law, during the walk, wears a bible verse on a large pink ribbon on her back, and she thought of doing a tile with the verse and a pink ribbon on it. I loved making this tile because it had such sweet sentimental value! I'm sending the happiest of birthday wishes your way! Thanks, Kristin!

  8. Kristin will love giving this as a gift. How special that she found you to make such a personal gift for her family. Thats something that she can't buy in a store. You did a great job on it & I love the colors & the verse. Its just so sad that two people from her family have passed away with breast cancer. Thats scary....But this tile will mean so much to her family.

  12. This is such a special gift--very nice!

I need to get one of the "polka-dot-makers" that you use. It would really be helpful for a painting border that I'm working on. It would really speed up the process. I assume I can just find them at Hobby Lobby?
