We went to see Rachel (and get pizza) on Monday night at Jim's Razorback in Farmington. She is so adorable in her red apron! She is gorgeous no matter what she does though. I happened to have my camera (of course!) so I took it and shot some cute pics while we waited. We love you Rach!

Rachel- the cutest pizza gal ever!

More info!
Due to the mass emails I have received about the hiking expedition, I have included a website that should give more info. Copy and paste it into your browser. Also, googling "Hemmed-In-Hollow" and "Arkansas" produces a number of photos, directions, and hiking hints for mastering the hollow.

Hiking on Sunday at Hemmed-In-Hollow!
On Sunday, David and I met up with Zack and decided to do a full day's hike in Ponca at Hemmed-In-Hollow. It was intense! Zack warned me that it was the hardest trail difficulty (strenuous), but I told him I could handle it. Both guys were afraid I would tucker out, but since they invited me to tag along, I tried my best not to let them down. I didn't slip, fall, drown, or whine, so I think I did pretty good! : ) It was a 10 mile round trip hike, mostly uphill and on steep, uneven ground. The trip included four river crossings and a great 200 ft. drop waterfall. There were tons of people in canoes- it made us wish we had ours out! We, unlike those people, hiked all the way in, and had to hike all the way out. We burned some major calories! The rivers hit me right at thigh level, and were a refreshing break- they currents weren't too bad actually. We had a fun time, but were beat coming up the last 5 miles to the Jeep. Round trip time to hike it out: eight hours on foot. The scenery was amazing, the weather perfect, and company superb! We did miss Amy though!

Trim, cabinets, and interior doors are oficially done!
All of the trim, cabinets, interior doors, and crown have been painted their final color- we chose the color vanillin from Sherwin Willimas. It is not white, but not butter-colored either. It is a really creamy white. It looks white in the pictures though because of my flash. It looks so pretty with the high gloss finish! You can tell in the dining room that the primer is more taupe in color. It was fun to see all of the interior doors propped up, drying. They still need to glaze the kitchen cabinets before they are completely done though. Today they were taping the trim and crown off to get ready to prime the walls before the real color goes on.
