Just Hanging Out..

Harbor and I have just been hanging out- trying to stay indoors out of that cold wind! In the last two weeks he has started giving me a few smiles and a few coo's! It has been very exciting for his daddy, Bichon, I. He is quite a little ham for the camera most days.

I spoke with my principal last week and we decided that I would return to work on February 25th. In total, that gives me 17 weeks of maternity leave. I feel so blessed. I really feel like as a teacher I get the best of both worlds- working and being home as a mom. The middle school where I teach gets out at 2:50, and I am usually home by 3:25. Since Harbor's Gigi is watching him at our house, he will never have to "get out", which means when I am home, he is home! : ) Harbor will be almost four months old when I go back to work and I really feel relaxed and happy with that. I have a week off in March for Spring Break and then will only work April and May before I get my summer off. Woo Hoo!! Two months back at work and off all summer? Boy, howdy! Aquatic Park, here Harbor and I come!! (I know I shouldn't be thinking of summer when we technically have had zero snowfall here in good ol' Arkansas, but a girl can dream...)

Enjoy the latest and greatest of pictures from the McCash house!

  4. Great pictures~

I was wondering where you got the adorable striped container in Harbor's room.......where the books seem to be? It's perfect for Shelby's room. We are doing a chocolate and pink color combo with fabric much like that container. :)

  7. Sweet little Harbor has had all kinds of vistor's, thats great. Harbor & Bichon just hanging out on the couch, I love that one. Bichon has done amazeing with little Harbor. Always stays close but never brothers him. And Hudson came to vist too, maybe one day they can be great friends. I think its funny to see Harbor with his tummy time, he looks like a little frog on that lilly-pad, ha!!!Especially when he starts kicking his legs & those arms start moving, he looks like he is trying to swim, ha!!!!Harbor is such a happy baby & time is passing so fast- already 2 months old. I love all the photo's you got some of him smiling, so sweet. I will have to keep the photo's coming when I stay home with him so you can see how much he grows & changes, love you..Mom

  28. He is so cute! I need to come by and see you two! You're incredibly blessed that your mom is able to watch him like that--it will make your transition SO much easier! My mom took vacation my first week back and it didn't bother me to leave her at all, but after that week I was a mess!
