The Wild, Wild West!

Friday night, David and I agreed to babysit Zayde for Zack and Amy while they attended a murder mystery party at her parent's house. When Amy called reporting two characters had called in sick and that they were in need of quick replacements, David and I said it would be our pleasure to come and take their place! I got ready in all of 20 minutes, but it was a lot of fun! Amy's mom, Carol, had the house looking so cute! Old timey Western music blared from the front porch, and she had a jail cell door set up in the hallway to serve as the jail (where many members of the Guist family unfortunately spent much of the night!) The objective- determine who the murderer is without losing your gold! We feel very lucky to have the Hickmans as friends, and always have a great time when we spend the evening with them!

David and I

Me and my husband for the night-
Montgomery Money (Amy's cousin)

Tamara is Amy's sister and is the sweetest girl! We just love Tamara! She was a saloon girl and when she asked David to dance.. well.... he couldn't say no! : )

David and Amy's son, Zayde.

The Marshall

Amy's Aunt Lisa

Zack and Amy- that wig has seen its fair share of parties! : )

The food table

Amy's mom, Carol, tagged mason jars with our character names! So cute!

Amy's husband, Zack, was a murdered man!

My husband, Mr. Money, under house arrest! You can imagine how hard we were laughing. (I did manage to free him by bribing the guard with some gold nuggets!)

Amy and I

Zayde and I

All the Southern "ladies"

And the men who settled the west!

Zack and David

The Hickman family

I was voted "Most Dramatic" by my peers! What a hoot!

Posing with the most dramatic men! Ha! I think that is so funny!

Oh, and don't worry. Brooklynn will definitely be in preschool for at least a year before she starts school. I totally agree that you can tell which children have been around their mommies all their lives! :)

  24. Jessica--
Thanks for contacting me. I hadn't tried to reach you yet because I've still been thinking about the design I would like. I am not very creative, though! I think I would like to hang it in one of my girls' rooms. The walls are cappuccino-colored, so I was thinking maybe a pink and brown color scheme, but I'm not sure what I would like it to say. I will keep in touch!
Oh yes--your party looked like so much fun!
