On Saturday afternoon, we met with our builder on our land to mark off the house, and decide which trees could stay, and which trees had to go. We walked the property with the final platt we received when we closed and realized we had over an acre!! It is actually 1.3 acres. We were excited to know we had a little more. I can imagine tree forts with our (someday) sons, and tire swings! : )
Don't count on those "someday sons", we had three daughters. They loved tree forts, go carts, and horses as much as boys would have. Now we are blessed with three fantastic son-in-loves!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great lot to build on. Lots of trees & so close to school for Jessica. This last weekend David & Leslie worked all day cutting up trees & clearing the lot. They both were so sore, & we heard about it for days, Ha!!!
