When designing H's nursery over four years ago, bright colors and animal prints were all the rage.
We painted stripes on his ceiling and mix and matched lots of fabrics.
Those colors are still super popular, but I really loved when the light, bright, and airy trend started seeping into nursery design. With our house being so old, it felt natural to use lots of white, with touches and gray and yellow. Though our little H is only five weeks old and still in a bassinet with us, his room is a calming place to sit and watch the snow, baby gaze, and rest.
I love your new blog!

ReplyDeleteHello Jessica, Its Mom. I must say these photos are wonderful but to see Henrys nursey in person is so cute & inviting. Well you know my favorite color is yellow but its hard color to decorate with so I just love Henrys room. I wanted to tell Pam that left commet she said she loved that jar with yellow, gray & white beads in it those are candies I put in mason jar from Jessicas shower when she came home just in case you want to copy the idea. Give Harbor & Henry a hug & kiss from Gigi. Miss & love you all.
