Moving announcements!
David and I are planning on having an "Open House" when we move in. My invitations will include the open house invite, plus our new address and phone number. The cards are still in the beginning phase- I will not be able to finish them without a photo of the front. 100 cards are sitting, waiting.... They were fun to design and make! : )
Mosaic tiles are in!
Cute gift idea!
I needed a gift for a wedding shower after church on Sunday. I found a pretty picture hanger, but didn't like any of the big bags avaliable. Don't you just get tired of bulky bags? : ) I bought some wide, black ribbon and a big, hot pink flower, attached floral wire to the back and "wrapped it." After tucking the card in place, it is ready to go! Easy fix!
It's Raining Cards!
My new venture!
A friend from High school has asked me to create a custom scrapbook for her to celebrate her daughter- beginning with the ultra-sound and extending to now. My conditions were that I could work on it at my own pace, considering I am a perfectionist with this stuff, and that I be paid what I see fit for time, labor, and materials. She agreed and we met at Hobby Lobby today to get started. Over $100.00 later, we had picked our paper, embelishments, stamps, stickers, vellum, and diecuts. It will be a very modern, trendy scrapbook with lots of spunk and pizazz! : ) I can't wait to get started! : ) I appreciate the trust of my friend to create for her a sentimental keepsake I know she will love and cherish for years to come!

Driveway!
The bottom half of our driveway is down. It took over one full truck to pour it. The top is next. The brick is finished on the back and about finished on the right front side. They are starting on the front. The tile in the shower and master bath is almost finished, and my kitchen cabinets have been glazed. They look soooo good!! I love them! They may end up being my favorite decision! : ) They look old and worn and cozy. The glaze got into the b-board and really darkened up the nooks and crannies!
