Electric work is almost finished!

Wires, light boxes, outlets, and can lights are almost all in!! Deciding where to have lights, what kind, and where the switches will go has been fun! : )

Dinner at Zack and Amy's house!

We had dinner Sunday night with the Hickmans, and David was on baby patrol all night. He loved it!! We watched, "Blood Diamonds", and David rocked, craddled, and otherwise kept Zayde in lullaybye-land. I snuck to the nursery to check out her new curtains!

The heating and air are going in!

David's brother, Marcus, our nephews, Marc and Adam, have designed, and are installing our heating and air. We feel so lucky to have such a talented family! We are thrilled to have their help! The back slab has been poured, as well as the footings for the front door steps. The two-story decking should start tomorrow! The roof has tar paper on it, and the windows and front door should be put in the house in the next few days. With spingtime about here, things are moving quickly!

Jessica and Lyndsey

Mom and I went to visit Lyndsey on Sunday to see her nursery. Lyndsey has had her bedding made custom, and it is to die for!! She made her drapes herself- she is quite good with her sewing machine! : ) Her fur baby, Marley, loves to play in the baby's room. I can't wait to meet Hudson!

Flowers!!

David surprised me by sending flowers to my classroom on Wednesday, the 21st. I had my Praxis III exam and interview, which lasted a grueling four hours. David was super sweet to think of me on such an important, but stressful day!!!
