Miami, Florida at the Orange Bowl!

My cousin, Rachel Byrd, flew out to Miami for New Years to cheer on the field at the Orange Bowl game! She is super talented. Go Rachel, Go!! Her and my Aunt Cathy hung out in South Beach and even saw Taylor Hicks, from American Idol, out and about. Fun!

Ceiling Joists are up!

The ceiling joists are up! You can see the trey and cathedral rafters. It is looking more and more like a house every day! My granny went with me to see what was new.

Omaha, Nebraska

David and I left Friday to travel to Omaha to visit David's brother Doug and his family. We had a great time and came back on Monday. We stopped at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas, where my family and I were stationed for six years, before coming on home. It brought back warm memories. It snowed in Omaha while we were there, and we had a grand time being snowed in with the kids and playing games! : ) We are already planning the next trip which will include a trip to the zoo and a re-visit to a fabulous scrapbook store I found.

Christmas Morning

Living back at home is a perk, especially on Christmas morning! David and I enjoyed the cozy feelings we had as we woke up to start the day. Opening presents in P.J.'s is the best!
