Airplane from Arkansas!

I may be out of the blogging loop for a few weeks:  

 

Look who flew into Colorado from Arkansas two days ago?!

 

It's Gigi

{my mom}

from our hometown!

 

And she is staying for three whole weeks!

{we are so excited to see familiar faces in our new state!}

 

She's been able to watch Harbor do his school work.

Tonight, she even got to come see us teach Harbor's Cubbies class.

 

I've been cooking yummy breakfasts and dinners.

{like this hash brown, onion, and cheese quiche}

 

And they've had lots of fun playing castles, knights, and ogres.

{Gigi had a knight in her purse on the airplane and gave it to Harbor upon arrival}

 

Do you see anything different?

Does Harbor look different?

 

He is FIVE today!

Today was his 5th birthday and Gigi got to be here to celebrate.

 

Little brother Henry sang Happy Birthday as loud as he could.

: )

 

And Gigi has been getting lots of cuddle time with our sweet boy:

 

we've taken to calling him "Henny Penny" from the Little Red Hen

and

"Henry Fussy" from Charlotte's Web.

: )

 

For Harbor's birthday we did everything he wanted:

-ate at the food court in the mall

-played glow in the dark putt putt at an indoor course

-took a train ride

-had ornaments personalized for Christmas

-had dinner at Chick-Fil-A and played at the play place inside

-and ate fancy frozen yogurt with fruit and candy toppings 

 

Harbor took this picture for us by standing on my ottoman in the Great Room.

We are all pretty happy Gigi is here.

  Harbor's birthday party is Saturday! Photo shoot, presents, cake, and gorgeous mountain backdrop are planned and ready!
